Founded in Berlin and relocation to Hagen
On May 28, 1938, Hermann Sebald establishes Lubricants in Berlin. After the headquarters in Berlin was definitively relocated to Hagen in 1948, the company MAFA-Sebald began its own production of spray guns. From the beginning of the sixties, the castings were manufactured in our own mold foundry. The foundry department was expanded in 1971 with the area of die-cast aluminum. Meanwhile we pour on a casting machine with approx. 500 tons of pressing force. Already in these early years of company history, MAFA-Sebald stands for reliable and innovative products that have a good reputation for quality worldwide.
Relocation to the current location
1971, the management decided to relocate the entire operation to nearby Breckerfeld. An office building and a new hall were built. At the same time, the technology is being modernized and production switched to die-cast aluminum. As a result, the product range in the areas of spray technology and lubrication technology can be expanded, and new products from the workshop equipment, pneumatics and industrial equipment divisions can be included in the range. Although production is becoming more and more modern and efficient, retailing is never behind. In 1982, for example, a new hall was designed and constructed for shipping, from which the products of the MAFA-Sebald company are shipped all over the world.
Expansion of the company and a glimpse into the future In
1992, a new assembly hall will be built on the site, assembling the highly technical equipment. Due to the continuous expansion of the product range, more than 10,000 articles are available to customers, which can now also be purchased in the company's own online shop. This has made MAFA-Sebald one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of spray technology and spraying technology. This path has been continued and expanded by Kim Hermann Sebald in the third generation since mid-2014. We look forward to continuing to offer our customers innovative and high-quality products in the future, and are therefore continually investing in our technical equipment. For example, at the beginning of 2015, a new aluminum die casting machine and smelting plant went into operation.
